On our way to Farney Castle we saw on the side of the road this awesome looking old church. We got out and turns out that it is still used!!!!
We found a pamphlet for Farney Castle at the Bed and Breakfast that we were staying at. The reason it was so intriguing and HAD to be a stop today, the "Salmon of Knowledge". It has to do with an old Celtic Wise tail, you should ask Jordan about it. The people that live in the castle are the craftiest /most talented family. The 4 daughters, amazing harpists, published poets, amazing ceramic sculpture makers!!! We did not tour the castle, just shopped in the shop and talked to one of the daughters pretty cool.
Bunratty Castle
First tour of a castle!!!!! made me realize that I would never want to live in one though, honestly. The coolest thing is that we got to go up to the top of one of the towers, outside, so pretty!!!!

(Would you like to climb these stairs everyday?!?! NO THANK YOU!!!)

Durty Nelly's

The grounds reminded us of Williamsburg, we think during the high tourist seasons there are probably people in costume in all the different houses telling you what their life would have been like. We didn't spend too much time here but it was really pretty and we found some fun gifties =)
We had to go to a pub while in Ireland and as luck would have it the oldest pub in Ireland was right across the street from Bunratty castle. We sat down at around 3:30 or so so we weren't there when it was really crowded but it was really fun and the food was GRUB! Our waiter, mighty attractive!
