I had a pretty cool experience 1 year ago today. I had returned from my summer vacation a little over a week prior, had finally moved into my apartment and was getting ready to start my senior year. I woke up for the first day of my last year as an undergraduate student at Brigham Young University and got ready for the day. As I got in my car that morning I said to myself, quite matter of factly, Maci is going to be born today. Not 3 minutes later, honestly, 3 minutes, I got a phone call from Kristin that she and Tanner were on the way to the hospital, she was in labor. I don't know why that meant so much to me but it did & does, i knew that little Maci was going to join our extended family and I was excited. I absolutely charished the lunches at Cafe Rio, in the middle of a stressful week, when I got to hold Maci and for a moment, somehow reconnected with my cute nieces and nephews who were so far away from me. Thank you Kristin, for sharing your little girl in a time when I was homesick for my family and my little ones. I love you both and am so excited to see your cute faces as well as Cathy, Cara, Cambi & Tanner's in less than 3 weeks!!!
