a time to recover before the storm hits again!

It has been an insain weekend!! From Friday afternoon until right now I have hardly had two seconds to breath at my own house. It may not sound crazy but it has been!

Friday night I went out on a group date. I asked Steve last weekend and by midweek last week I was already regretting the decision, somehow I just knew it was going to turn out poorly. And guess what!! I WAS TOTALLY RIGHT!!!!!!!!! Anyways, the shortened version, it was bad! =) I have attached a picture from the date. Notice that there is only one person not smiling and that person is my date! There won't be another date. I didn't get to bed till super late and then was up at 7:30 on Saturday to get ready to make it to Bountiful by 10:00. I love Bountiful!! It always reminds me of my childhood and I have so much fun with Cathy's family while I am up there! We just played around for half an hour until we needed to head down to Jeri's for Brett's fiance, Whittney's, bridal shower. Jeri always has the best decorations, food, etc. It was great! It was nice to see some family.

After that we headed back to Cathy's to make holiday TREATS! Oh how I love treats! It was me, Kristin, Hannah, Chris and Cathy. It was so fun! We just sang in their kitchen and laughed while spending time together. I didn't want to leave! But I had to! I had to get back to Provo by 5 so that I could finish learning our dance so that we could perform at 7. I made it back at 5:05, and my roomates ushered me into the living room where we practiced until 5:35 so that I could hurry, shower, get ready to leave at 6 to practice with the boy that was lip singing for us. After a few sketchy trial runs it turned out GREAT!!! We were like 10 in the program and everyone loved it! They got so into it, everyone laughing and enjoying themselves. It made me so happy! Have no fear, Bree & Eric videotaped it so you can all enjoy my insainness over Christmas! It was really fun to just get out of my comfort zone and do something so not like me. I was very pleased with myself.

Today I can finally breathe. We are not singing in church today because my roomate got sick so I got off the hook and thank goodness, I was really not ready for that! More good news on the homefront. . . .I got a 98% on my anatomy lab final!!!!!!!!! I checked it right after our show in the building it was in and scretched for joy when I saw it! I worked so hard and it paid off, I am really happy! Now all I have to do is get a 98% on my anatomy lecture final, that would be a MIRACLE!!!

Finals start this coming saturday and I am not ready! I still have 2 tests before I can even start thinking about finals. And on top of that Lisa & I have to plan an "enrichment activity" with 15 boys invited for Friday night. We are making gingerbread houses and I am very excited but I don't really want to think about it. Saturday I have my biochem & finance finals and then I dont have another one until the last day of finals, thursday, when I have 2!

Please pray for my sanity these next two weeks, they will be intense! I love you all and can't wait to be with you in two weeks!
