I have given my boss notice that I will be leaving Catalyst Health Solutions effective December 31st. It is a weird feeling to know that I only have 7.5 weeks left. I have been with the company since June 1, 2004. It has grown 10 fold since then and I think I am one of 3 people in my entire department that has been here since the "good ol' days". As I look back on the last 4.5 years I am reminded on the great blessings that have come to me because of this job. This list is mostly for me so please do not feel like you have to read it
- Bought a brand new car and paid it off quickly
- With the help of my parents, paid for college out right, no loans
- Experience in the healthcare industry which will help me in my future career as a nurse
- Learned the valuable lesson of hard work and dedication, it is recognized
- Learned how to work with people that I did not agree with while still working hard and being respectful
- Met some amazing people who will be lifelong friends
Now I am not leaving because I am extremely unhappy, I am leaving because I think there are other opportunities out there that will help me in my future career. I am not sure if I will get a job right away, I have a trip planned out west for a little over 2 weeks in January and I start school on the 26th of January but I know that I will have a couple days a week where I do not classes or clinicals plus the weekend so I might substitute teach or maybe get a part time job at a hospital.
Regardless of what I end up doing I will always be grateful for the opportunities that Frank, Noha and Sarah have given me over the last 4.5 years.
