TEAS Test

I DID IT!!!!!!!!!! I passed the TEAS test with flying colors which means. . . .drumroll please. . . I WILL GO TO NURSING SCHOOL IN JANUARY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I just sent my application to Montgomery College - Takoma Park's nursing school. It is due July 1st, so I should find out early October of my "offical acceptance". You had to get 50% on the reading, science and english sections and a 30% on the math. I got a 97.5% Reading, 88.9% math, 90% science, 85.5% English (apparently I have become way to reliant on spell check because i literally almost failed the spelling section). So the way they admit students is they break down the students into groups by the number of "core classes" complete, the core classes being Anatomy, Physiology, higher level English, and a "math foundation" class. I have 2 Anatomy, 2 Physiology, 2 higher English, Calculus and Statistics so I think I am good there. So in the first group (all 4 done) they rank you based on your TEAS score. They start at the top and admit 88 students. If they don't have 88 students who passed the TEAS and have all 4 classes done they move on to the group that has completed 3 "core classes". Unless by some miracle (the director thinks that they will have to go into the group that has 3 classes done) 88 students got a higher score than me on the TEAS I am good to go.

A special thank you to Kristin Anne for being so excited she screeched even though she worked the night shift and called after she got off at 7am!!! I knew you would understand my level of excitement!!!!!!!!!
