Christmas
Reading my sister Corinne's blog got me thinking about how much of Christmas is a tradition for me. I honestly do not know what I am going to do my first Christmas away from home, my first Christmas where everything is not just as it should be. This year was a good transition year because we did not wake up until 9am which meant that we had traditional breakfast cinnamon rolls after scriptures, prayers, & pictures but before any present opening. I love moms Christmas dishes, the way our stocking are set up, the way our house smells each Christmas, knowing just when we are going to open the presents under each tree, the m&m filled boots, and the music that fills the house after everyone has gone home and dad and I jam out on the piano. There is so much to Christmas for me & I am so grateful that I will have the opportunity to create the same experience for my kids as my parents have created for me. I love this day, and all that it entails. Merry Christmas to all!!!!
