down south & nats

Sorry for not posting more, it has been an insane couple of weeks. This past weekend my friend Clarissa and I headed down to Virginia to have a weekend away. We got discount Kings Dominion tickets and crashed on her sister's floor so it was not too expensive of a weekend. We had a BLAST at Kings Dominion. We got there around 11 and pretty much just rode roller coasters. I feel like a little kid (not that I don't always act like I little kid) when I ride roller coasters, like there is not a care in the world. I don't know what it is but I love it! We had had all the roller coasters we could handle at about 6:30 so we headed out and went to Cracker Barrel for dinner. It was really fun to spend some one on one time with her.
Monday Clarissa asked if I wanted to go to a Nationals game that night if she could get free tickets through the law firm she works at. How could I turn down an opportunity to watch a sporting event for free?!?! So of course, we got there late, but had an awesome time!! I think people were wondering what we had had to drink to act as gregarious as we were but it was really fun to just not care what people thought. I know, it may sound rude and obnoxious, but we really weren't that bad.
Anyways, good times.
Other news:
* my phone died after visiting meagan last thursday so I paid $35 to get a refurbished phone but now that battery STINKS so I will be taking it back in today to have them replace that for me
* I found REALLY cute SUPER CHEAP duffel bags at the LLBean store in Columbia, I am EXTREMELY pleased with my purchases
* I go back west in 1 month from today, weird!
* I am watching Sheely and Tuft all day Saturday, should be really fun
* I am working a lot more than I thought I would this summer so I feel like my life is very disorganized and I am very behind on a lot of things. Not sure if that is going to get much better before I go back to school. I am going to have to kick it into high gear to get a lot of my independent study english class done.
