it is hard to imagine something like this happening. i am in college, i walk buildings with confidence, never stopping to question whether something horrific is going to happen while I sit in my class. I don't understand how something like this happens. 21 people, most probably about my age, dead, because one person went out of control. I just don't understand.

I had the same thoughts, mostly feeling just really glad it wasn't at BYU. Isn't that horrible?
This is one of those tragedies that is so big it's hard to wrap your head around it. I keep thinking of you and all of my sweet kids, and my heart breaks for all of the families and friends who have lost someone they love. I'm glad you're coming home.
